Biography

As a professional teaching artist, Tracy has dedicated the past ten
years not only sharing the experience of music, movement

and language with our youth, but also helping children harness their

creative skills as a means of self-expression, breaking barriers in

language and cultural diversity, and the celebration of self.

Specializing in early childhood education, she strives to make every

class not only fun and educational, but also an "expression of care"

(as coined by her hero, Mr. Rogers) for each and every child.

Tracy began her career leading children’s music workshops in Finland,
Latvia and Russia while obtaining a degree in Theatre and Dance at
Middle Tennessee State University. After moving to NYC in 2005, she 

taught herself guitar and has enjoyed a career in music ever since.

Tracy also loves improv, dance, languages, and writing. She teaches

at preschools, daycares, and private classes throughout New

York City.

When she is not teaching, you can find Tracy performing her original songs in
live music venues and in the recording studio as she makes her first
children’s music album.
